What GoForPlay is
GoForPlay is a free information and organizing tool for tennis players in the Greater Toronto Area. It shows publicly available information about tennis courts and gives players a place to organize their own games and tournaments.
We are not a court operator, a booking platform, a payment processor, or a club. We do not own, manage, reserve, or supervise any court listed in the app.
Disclaimer
Court information is provided "as is". Court locations, surfaces, lighting, opening hours, booking rules and conditions come from public sources and from contributions by other users. They may be outdated, incomplete, or wrong. Always check with the actual court operator before you travel.
We are not responsible for: money you send or receive to or from another player or organizer; a court being closed, moved, mislocated, booked out, or not existing; injuries, accidents, or property damage; the conduct of any player, organizer, or third party; or any loss arising from using this app.
Games and tournaments are organized by users. GoForPlay only provides the tool. Any arrangement — including fees, prizes, scheduling and safety — is strictly between the people involved.
Report wrong information
If you are a court owner, operator, or a player and you see a court that is misplaced, permanently closed, privately owned, or listed with incorrect details, email us at the address below. Please include the court name, the city, and (if possible) a link or screenshot from the app.
Request removal of a listing
If you own or manage a court and you do not want it listed in GoForPlay, email us and we will remove it. You do not need to give a reason. We aim to action removal requests within 3 business days.
The same address works for copyright or data-source concerns.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I add or fix a court?
Open the court's detail page and use the suggestion/edit action. Corrections from multiple players are cross-checked before they take effect, so a single wrong edit cannot silently change the map.
Do I need an account?
You can browse courts without one. Creating or joining a tournament needs an account, because the organizer and players must be identifiable to each other.
How do I delete my account and data?
In the app: Settings → Delete account. This permanently deletes your profile, your tournament entries, and any tournament you organize (including the scores other players recorded in it). Court information you submitted stays on the map but is no longer linked to you. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Does the app collect my location?
Only when you tap "back to my location", and only to filter courts by distance. It is never recorded as your history and it is never shown to other users as a position.
Can I get my money back for a game?
No. GoForPlay does not process payments and is not a party to any arrangement between players. Any fee is between you and the person you paid — please settle it with them directly.
