Privacy Policy

Overview

FitTimer is built with your privacy in mind. Workout settings, history, and optional profile details stay on your device. We do not collect your name, email address, or location. The app uses the internet only to process FitTimer Pro subscriptions through Google Play Billing and RevenueCat, as described below.

Data Collection

FitTimer does not collect or upload any of the following:

• Personal information (name, email, phone number)
• Location data
• Usage or behavioral analytics
• Cookies or advertising / tracking technologies

Health, fitness, and profile data (on device only)

If you fill in About You, FitTimer may store age, gender, height, and weight on your device to estimate calories. Workout history is also stored locally. This information is not sent to our servers, RevenueCat, or Google for advertising or analytics.

FitTimer is a workout timer. Calorie estimates and training stats are for informational purposes only and are not medical advice. They are not a diagnosis, treatment, or substitute for a qualified health professional.

Subscription & Billing Data

When you subscribe to FitTimer Pro, the following data is processed by our third-party service providers:

• Purchase history — Google Play Billing processes your transaction to verify and deliver your subscription.
• Device or other IDs — RevenueCat assigns an anonymous app user ID per install to track subscription status and enable restore purchases.
• User IDs — RevenueCat uses an anonymous identifier to link your subscription to your device.

This data is used solely to manage your subscription status, process payments, and enable features like restore purchases. It is not used for advertising, analytics, or sold to third parties.

Data Storage

All app settings (workout preferences, optional profile, workout history) are stored locally on your device using standard platform storage (DataStore on Android). This data never leaves your device except as needed for Play Billing / RevenueCat to confirm a Pro subscription.

Data Retention & Deletion

FitTimer retains your locally stored data only until you delete it. To delete your data:

• Android: Uninstall the app, or go to Settings > Apps > FitTimer > Storage > Clear Data

Clearing app data or uninstalling the app will permanently remove all stored preferences, workout history, and profile information from your device. This action cannot be undone.

Third-Party Services

FitTimer integrates the following third-party services for subscription management:

• Google Play Billing — Processes all in-app purchases and subscriptions. Google Privacy Policy
• RevenueCat — Manages subscription status and entitlements. RevenueCat Privacy Policy

Neither service is used for analytics, advertising, or tracking beyond what is necessary to deliver and validate your subscription.

Text-to-Speech

FitTimer uses your device's built-in text-to-speech engine for voice coaching. All speech synthesis is performed locally on your device. No audio data is sent to any server.

Children's Privacy

FitTimer is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this privacy policy, the changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
